The Asus EEE PC is a subnotebook computer designed by ASUSTeK. The currently shipping model (700 series) features a 7 inch LCD screen, 800 MHz Intel chip, 512 mB of RAM and weighs only 2 pounds. It comes pre-installed with Linux, but Windows XP can be installed. It is also extremely affordable and can be had for $299 to $349 depending on model.
